1. About us

These Terms and Conditions apply to consumer purchases made through www.gryandsif.com.

The seller is:

Gry & Sif ApS
Søgade 16, 2
4100 Ringsted
Denmark

Company registration number (CVR): 28153317
Email: hello@gryandsif.com
Telephone: +45 70 20 31 18

A consumer is an individual purchasing mainly for purposes outside their trade, business or profession. Purchases through our separate B2B shop are subject to the terms agreed for that service.

The version of these terms provided when you place your order applies to that purchase. Later changes do not affect existing contracts.

Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory consumer rights.

2. Placing an order

Product listings invite you to place an order and do not, by themselves, constitute a binding offer.

You can review and correct your basket, delivery details and other information before submitting your order. By clicking the final order button indicating an obligation to pay, you submit an offer to purchase the selected goods.

We send an automatic email acknowledging receipt of your order. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance. A contract is formed when we send your dispatch confirmation.

We provide your order details and the applicable terms by email or as an attachment that you can save.

These terms are available in English. Where we offer a local-language checkout, the applicable language information is provided during the ordering process.

3. Prices and payment

Prices include applicable VAT. The currency, delivery charges and total amount payable are shown before you place your order.

We accept PayPal and the credit and debit cards displayed at checkout.

Your payment provider may reserve the order amount when you place your order. We do not collect payment before dispatch unless a lawful advance-payment arrangement has been clearly disclosed and expressly agreed with you.

If we cannot accept your order, we release any payment reservation or refund any amount already collected without undue delay.

4. Product availability

Availability and delivery information are shown on the relevant product pages and at checkout.

If an item becomes unavailable before we accept your order, we will notify you promptly. We will not substitute another product without your agreement. Any payment collected for an item we cannot supply will be refunded.

If a problem arises after a contract has been formed, we will contact you to resolve it in accordance with your statutory rights.

5. Delivery

Our delivery destinations, charges and estimated delivery times are set out in our Shipping and Returns policy and shown at checkout where applicable.

Unless we expressly agree otherwise, delivery times run from the date you place your order. Where advance payment has been expressly agreed, any different starting point will be disclosed before purchase.

We deliver within the agreed timeframe. If no timeframe has been agreed, we deliver without undue delay and normally no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded.

If we fail to deliver on time, you may require delivery within an appropriate additional period and cancel the contract if we still fail to deliver. You may cancel immediately where the law allows, including where an agreed delivery date was essential or we refuse to deliver.

We remain responsible for loss or damage during delivery until you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. The statutory exception applies if you independently appoint a carrier we did not offer.

If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please notify us promptly and, where possible, take photographs. Failure to report damage immediately does not remove your statutory rights.

6. Your 30-day right to cancel

Consumers normally have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase. We extend this period to 30 days under the conditions below.

You can cancel without giving a reason.

The cancellation period expires 30 days after you, or someone you nominate other than the carrier, receive the goods. If goods from one order arrive separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item.

To cancel, send a clear statement to:

Email: hello@gryandsif.com
Post: Gry & Sif ApS, Søgade 16, 2, 4100 Ringsted, Denmark.

You may use the cancellation form below, but this is optional. Sending your notification before the deadline is sufficient.

You can also notify us through our Return Portal. We will acknowledge an online withdrawal notification without undue delay by email.

7. Returning goods

After notifying us of your cancellation, send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notification. You meet this deadline if you dispatch them within that period.

Return address:
Gry & Sif
Rugvænget 10
4100 Ringsted
Denmark

You may use our Return Portal to arrange a return. Use of the portal or its shipping label is optional.

You pay the direct cost of returning goods when you change your mind. This does not apply to necessary return costs for a valid claim concerning faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.

You may inspect goods as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. You are responsible only for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for that inspection.

Please retain proof of postage.

8. Refunds following cancellation

When you cancel your entire order, we refund all payments received for it, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. We do not refund additional charges for a more expensive delivery option you selected.

We refund you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your cancellation notice. We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever happens first.

We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We do not charge a refund fee.

9. Faulty or non-conforming goods

You have statutory rights if goods are faulty, do not match their description or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.

Under Danish law, you generally have a two-year period from delivery in which to notify us of a defect covered by the statutory rules. Any longer period or additional protection available under mandatory applicable consumer law remains unaffected.

Please notify us within a reasonable time after discovering a defect. Under Danish law, notification within two months of discovery is always considered timely.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to repair or replacement free of charge, a price reduction or cancellation of the purchase. Repair or replacement must be completed within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.

Contact hello@gryandsif.com with your order number and a description of the problem. Photographs can help us assess it, but they are not a condition for exercising your rights.

We may reasonably need to inspect the goods. We cover necessary shipping costs for a valid statutory claim.

These rights are separate from our 30-day cancellation period and are not restricted by it.

10. Liability

Our liability is governed by applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including mandatory product liability, liability for personal injury and your statutory remedies for defective goods.

11. Personal data

Our Cookie and Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data, who receives it and how you can exercise your privacy rights.

Accepting these terms does not constitute consent to optional cookies or marketing.

12. Complaints and dispute resolution

Please contact hello@gryandsif.com if you have a complaint. We will seek to resolve it directly with you.

If we cannot reach a solution, you may be eligible to submit a complaint to Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager, and subsequently Forbrugerklagenævnet, through Nævnenes Hus. Eligibility requirements and fees apply.

Information and access to the complaints procedure are available at Nævnenes Hus.

For a cross-border purchase within the EU, you can also seek assistance from the European Consumer Centre in your country.

These procedures do not restrict your right to bring a claim before a competent court.

13. Applicable law and courts

These terms are governed by Danish law.

If you are a consumer resident in another country to which we direct our commercial activities, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory laws that would otherwise apply in your country of habitual residence.

Any dispute may be brought before the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law. These terms do not require consumers to bring proceedings exclusively in Denmark.

14. Validity of these terms

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Applicable statutory rules replace any invalid provision where appropriate.

Cancellation form

Complete and send this form only if you wish to cancel your purchase. You may also send another clear statement.
